Plans and specifications may be seen at the Public- Works Offices, Auckland, Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Wellington. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders m due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour, and accompanied by a- cheque on some bank m the" town where thetender is lodged ; such cheque to be v spe"cially marked by a banker as good for twentyone days,' and to be m favour of the Receiver -General's Deposit Account only, and not to bearer or order.
