CHRISTCHURCH.

May 3. Further information respecting Turner, the man who was gored by a bull, shows that the light jaw and portions of the palate and. nose were torn completely away, and were found lying on the ground. The right eye was also forced out and the left eye injured. The bull was up to this time a very quiet one. Turner is 55 years of age, and is still alive, but with very. little hope of recovery. The Christchurch police have been sworn m under the Armed Constabulary Act. The United Free Methodists here have commenced to erect their new church, which is to cost £2200.
