Many troops have already arrived at G-alatz. . Cossacks are marching on Ealofat. Turks occupying Rouinania have withdrawn to the interior. Prince Nitk'a, of Montenegro, is marching towards the frontier. Turks are advancing upon Nicksch. Seventeen thousand .Russians have crossed the Turkish frontier. A large force is on the way towards ; the Danube. There is a universal desire that En g-. land should remain neutral.-. Paris papers do not consider Moltke's speech hostile to France.- .''... • . Monday. , The Turks commenced bombarding Anacua and G-alstz. . The Russian troops occupied Ismael on the north bank of the Kilia. ; The Porte refuses to recognise the G-erman protection of Russian subjects. European powers have, rejected the, Porte's. proposal for mediation. Italy remains neutral.
