Special Meeting on the 18th April, and that such Resolutions wtil be confirmed .:.' on the 3lst May ;-e That Salary- to the Cleri of the" Council will be at the rate of £150 per annum. . . That the Bye-Laws', as proposed; be adopted. That the Salary of Chairmau^be £150 for his term of Office ending m November next. That the Tolls of the Lower Ferry/ Manawalu Gorge, be passed as printed. That the Scale of Charges at present m force as read} at Foxton Ferry, be adopted. That Hawkers and Pedlars pay a half-yearly License Fee of £5 such license to free them over the area of the Counlry-j excepting such portions as are contained m Local Board boundaries; ERNEST S.
