Hall has taken the Canterbury Music Hall on a two years' lease, and purposes calling it the Gaiety Theatre. He will open on Easter Monday with acomedy and burlesque company. The Board of Education reports state that there, are. 117 common schools in Canterbury with 14,412 children on the books ; average daily attendance, 9845 ; number of teachers, 389. .
