DUNEDIN.
Tuesday. Mr McLean, the Commissioner of Customs, has arrived at Dunedin. He intends to apportion the departments m the Provincial Government Building dtfring his stay. Some will be used for Courthouse purposes, and others will be assigned to the Waste Lands department. The receipts on the Otago railways for the past month were £15,127. meeting of the friends riW^upporters of Mr Macandrew was held for the purpose of taking steps to present him with a testimonial. Eighteen have been chosen to play the English Eleven.
