Wright, requesting permission to attend the meetings of the Board as reporter for the " Wanganui Herald." Resolved, — That the Secretary be instructed to inform the reporter for the " Wanganui Herald" that he has the same privileges as other newspaper correspondents, m that he can on application to the Secretary have access to the minute-book, and can take copies of the minutes of the Board. CONTRACTS. Two tenders were- received for bush falling and formation of Rangitawa road. Both were declined, one as excessive, and the other as informal. Fresh tenders will be called for.
