O'Shea reports produce prices as follows : —Flour, £14 10s to £15 ; oats, 2s 9d fo 3s 3d ; bran, Is to Is 2d ; kins, Od to lOd ; bacon, S^d to 9d ; cheese, 7£d to 8d ; pollard, 7s 10d to 83 ; potatoes, SOs to 100s ; maize, 4s 9d to ss. Dunedin, Friday. McLean Bros, report : — Business lias been quite at a standstill during the week owinnto the floods, which have done incalculable damage all over the Province. In the absence of transactions we cannot give quotations, but we have no doubt that the best samples of the new crop will command higher rates than conld have been looked for prior to the disastrous floods. Store market remains unaltered. Auckland, Feburary 2. Messrs. Hunter and Nolan report : — Horses. — There has been increased activity m the market. The supply lias continued large, and sales have been more readily effected. On Friday a large number were entered. Those of a good stamp attracted attention ; bidding was spirited, and prices had an upward tendency. We quote —Hacks, from £7 to £18 ; 'light draught mares, £25 ; draught coifs, from £30. Cattle. — Dairy cows sold from £7 to £10 10s. ; weaned calves, £1 10s. to £1 155. ; yearlings, from £2 ss. to £3 ss. j three-year-old steers, £6 each. Sheep. — There was a good supply and brisk demand for fat sheep. Store wethers were at improved values, but ewes did not advance m prir c. Fat wethers sold at from 16s. to 215. ; store wethers, 10s. 3d. to lls. ; store ewes, Bs. to 9s. Lambs, if good, were well competed for, but indifferent were neglected ; best sold at 155. ; inferior, ss. 6d. to Bs. London, Feburary 2. The wool market is unchanged. About 2-10,000 bales are expected for the coining sale. Wheat, dull ; New Zealand, 54s to 55s ; that and Adelaide scarce.
