Tuesday. An Equity suit was opened id the Supreme Court yesterday which, according to counsel for plaintiff, leads to. a question of forgery and possibly of perjury, and promises features as roman^ tie as those celebrated cases recorded m Warren's "Ten Thousand i, Year" aiid" Anthony Trollope's " Oi*ley Farm.'*; The plaintiff is Thomas Robertson an old settler living at Anderson's Bay, and he seeks to set aside a deed' of conveyance to his son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs D. M. Boss of Timaru, on the ground that the deed m question was procured by fraud. The property m dispute is said to be worth £8,000. At yesterday's sitting of the Gouirt, plain-'---tiff and defendant were examined, and the further hearing of the case was adjourned till ten o'clock this morning. ~>~r
