Cheistchuech, Friday. The grain market is quiet. No transactions have as yet taken place m the newgrain. The heavy rains during the week have retarded harvest operations, and deliveries will therefore be considerably later than usual. The bailey crops will be greatly discolored. The wheat and oat crops have suffered but little damage, except m the Southern districts. Wheat not m till the first yearly deliveries will command extreme rates. Oats, 2s' 4d to 2s 6d ; barley, nominal ; butter, lOd ; cheese, 7d ; flour, £14 to £15 ; bran, ss ; sharps, 6s.
