PUBLIC SERVICE CLUB
The annual meeting of (he Public Service Cricket Club was held last evening, Mr \V. H. Smith presiding.: Tho report and balance-sheet were adopted and the election of officers resulted: Patron, Hon. J. G. Cobbe, M.P.; president, Mr R. M. Watson, S.M.; vice-presidents, Messrs W. H. McLean, W. A. HofTmeietcr, L. J. Wild, and E. H. Lange; secretary, Mr M. Barltrop; delegates, Messrs G. Packer and W. H. Smith; Mr G. Packer was elected as acting- secretary until Mr M. Barltrop returns frotn military camp. Tho appointments of club captain and vice-captain were held over.
