CLASH IN MEXICO.
MONTEREY (Mexico), Oct. 1. What the Government describes as an attempted rising in Monterey resulted in a clash between Government troops and Almazanista forces, wherein the Almazanista leader (General Zarzosa) and a number of soldiers were killed. The clash followed attempts to arrest Zarzosa, who was allegedly preparing a military uprising.
