SABOTAGE EFFORTS.
IN AMERICAN SHIPYARD
(Rec. 9.25 a.m.) NEWARK, Oct. .2. Sabotage occurred in the Sun shipbuilding plant at Chester (Pennsylvania) after the Nazis and Communists joined forces, so Walter Appleby, the company’s marine chemist, told the Dies Sub-Committee. He detailed two successful attempts to interfere with the machinery 'of oiltankers undergoing repairs. Fires had been narrowly averted.
