FOUR ARRIVE IN FEILDING

The local British Children Committee, of which tho Mayor (Mr T. L, Seddon) is chairman, intimated that four members of the party of British children who have come to New Zealand are to arrive in Fcilding to-day and after being quietly welcomed they will be handed over to their temporary foster-parents for the duration of the war. The children will be allocated as follow: John Cross, aged 7 years, to Mr and Mrs W. J. Borrie, of West Street; David Trench, aged 10 ycai's, to Mr and Mrs S. Smith, of Denbigh Street; John Steel, aged 13 years, to Mr and Mrs R. W. Rontoul, of Halcombo Road; and Lillias Young, aged 8 years, to Mr and Mrs T. H. Wheeler, of Chamberlain Street.
