HYMN OF HATE.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —Someone lias suggested a hymn of hate to combat Nazism. The suggestion is made probably with a feeling of loyalty and good intent, yet it is really a subversion effort and, if ignorantly adopted, would not contribute inestimably to Britain’s sucess, because hate and evT suggestions cannot be tuned in with cosmic harmony, and is reactive on the author and all who foolishly indulge in such sentiments.
“God is too pure to behold inequity,’l therefore it would be just as reasonable to expect the principal of mathematics to heed the students’ error when he claims that five times five are ■ fifty-five. Neither is commonsense perturbed on being told that two plus two does not always equal four.—l am, etc.,
