LAST WEEK’S CLOSING RATES. LONDON, Sept. 28. Friday’s closing prices for raw materials were as follow, tlioso for September 20 being shown in parentheses:—Cotton: Market closed till October 1. Rubber: Para, 12d a lb (same); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 11 9-16 d a lb (llad). Linseed oil: £45 a ton (£44). Turpentine; 54s 6d a cwt (545).
