The Palmerston North amateur cyclists held a 28-milc race on Saturday, the course being four times round the Milson Block. Six riders faced tho starter and the result was: —D. Seelan (lOmin.), lhr. 24 min. 7see.. 1; G. Little (7min.) lhr 21min 7 l-ssee., 2; D. Hussey (9min.) lhr. 23min 23scc. 3. Fastest time: O. Campbell -{2 min.), lhr 16min 32see 1; L. Hazelwood (2min.) lhr 16min 23 l-ssec 2.
