(Rec. 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, Sept, 27. The continued rise of the old War Loan, now touching the highest level since 1938, has carried other gilt-edged securities in its train and has strengthened rumours of a new Government flotation. Industrial issues are quiet, but the gcnenl tendency is steady.
