INDO-CHINA POSITION.
APPEAL TO TOKIO
(Rec. 11.15 a.m.) HANOI, Sept. 27. It is officially stated that the French have asked Tokio to send a plenipotentiary to Indo-C'hina to halt the Canton Army’s continued southward advance, which the French army is not opposing The Trench said General Nishiliara had failed in his efforts to halt the army, and was now en route to Tokio aboard a transport.
