SUMMER TIME TO-MORROW.

ADVANCING THE CLOCK,

Summer time officially begins at 2 o’clock to-morrow, when all clocks will he advanced by half an hour. As in the past, residents will doubtless make the change before retiring to-night. The period of summer time in New Zealand extends from the last Sunday in September to the last Sunday in April, and is more than a month longer than tile period in England, where it starts on the third Sunday in April and ends on the first Sunday ill October.
