Produce Distributors, Ltd., report the following prices for this week according to quality and grade: Chinese gooseberries, 4s 6d to 11s box: grapefruit, 6s to 12s case; rhubarb, 6s to 11s; asparagus, lOd to Is 4d ; leeks. 6d to 9u; spring onions. lOd lo Is a bunch; lettuce, 3s to 9s; celery, 4s-to 14s; spinach 5s 6d to 9s; spring cabbage, 3s 6d to 5s 6d; silver beet, 2s 3d to 4s 9d per case; cauliflower, 11s 9d to 14s; swede 3,5 sto 7s super bags-; carrots, Is 6d to 2a 6d; parsnips, 2s to 3s sugar bags; pumpkins, 2jd per lb. ; onions (prime), 14s cental bag; others, 5s to 12s; potatoes (Prime Suttons), 4s to 5s cwt.; Dakotas, 4a to 5s 6d cwt. Good values are expected for rhubarb, good lettuce, asparagus, cauliflowers and spinach.
