SCOTCH THISTLE SOCIETY.

A large number of dancers attended the Scotch Thistle Society’s fortnightly old-time dance in the Cosmopolitan Hall. All were in' a gay mood and the music of the old-time orchestra added to the gaiety of the crowd. Novelties included ladies’ lucky door ticket, lucky Gay Gordons, and a new Monte Carlo, which was appreciated by all. The ladies’ committee supplied a supper which was very much appreciated. An exhibition dance was given by junior members of the society.
