RUGBY REPRESENTATIVES.
WELLINGTON AND AIANAWATU.
Rugby representative players of present and former days from Wellington and the Manawatu will be seen on the Showgrounds oval on Saturday in what should be a most attractive game. The proceeds of the match will be devoted to the patriotic funds. The curtain raiser will bo between representatives of former. years from the Palmerston North and Fcilding districts. In the main match the standard should be that of a good representative game, and names which arc familiar to followers of Rugby arc common in both teams. The ground gives promise of being in excellent order and in many cases the players have just concluded a season’s football, and so they will be thoroughly fit.
