HEAVY BOMBARDMENTS

A communique issued at Nairobi on Wednesday states that aircraft of the South African Air Eorce haYe successfully raided Sciasciamanna aerodrome, in Abyssinia, for the third time in the past fortnight.
Heavy bombs fell on tlieir target on the aerodrome, and one Italian aircraft on the ground was destroyed. _ Normal reconnaissances were carried out by other aircraft, and -all the machines returned safely. Italian aircraft attempted two raids into Kenya on Monday—one at Wajir and one in the Tana River area. There was no damage, but a few casualties occurred. * A Rome communique says: The enemy bombed Tobruk, bitting bouses and civil and military hospitals. Fifteen are dead and 17 wounded. An isolated Britis'li plane bombed Kufrav. We- bombed the aerodrome and military fortifications at the Bura fort, troops in a camp near Wajir and enemy detachments in the vicinity of Coufina, northward of Gallabat. The British bombed Diredawa.”
