PIANO AND VOCAL GROUPS
The piano and vocal groups of the British Music .Society combined last evening to present a programme m the Theosopliical Hall, which was decorated with broom and lupins by Mrs N. D. Stubbs. The programme was as follows:—Pianoforte solos: “The Hindu Lament,” Mrs J. C. Riddle; McDowell’s “Etude,” Miss L. Cronin; Chopin’s “Scherzo in C Sharp Minor” and “Rush Hour in Hong Kong,” Miss Frances Revere; Chopin’s “Barcarolle,” Miss M. Cairey. " Songs: “Chinese Flower” and “Cradle Ale Low,” Airs G. Gray; “Eriskay Love Lilt,” Atiss W. Stoekwell ; “Caro Alio Ben,” Mrs J. Curtis; “Little Flower,” Airs H. D. Howley; “Beautiful Beatrice” and “Gracious and Kind Art Thou, Aly Queen,” Airs J. Cameron; “When Love Is Kind,”- Aliss Junker; Drigo’s “Serenade” and “When Aly Ship Comes Sailing Home,” Air C. Cronin. The accompanists were Aiisses E. Eyre, F. Revere and Airs Howley. Airs N. D. Stubbs was the hostess and was assisted bv Airs Howley and Miss Stockwell.
