Chavez being injured beneath tho motor.
Last year (1909) New Zealand’s exports included wool. £6,305,888; frozen meat, £3.601.093; butter and cheese, £2.744,770. Marconi. on board an Italian-Lloyd steamer, flew a kite and communicated with Canada bv wireless over 3500 miles in broad daylight; A petition bearing 850.000 signatures, including thoso of 1305 doetors, was being presented to the British Parliament asking for the exemption of dogs from vivisection. Two young men in Gisborne bad imported one of Wright Brothers’, aeroplanes from - England and were expected to have the parts assembled in about three weeks.
