DESIRE FOR PEACE.
GREECE AND YUGOSLAVIA
LONDON, Sept. 22. A message from Salonika (Greece) states that the visiting Yugoslavian Cabinet Minister (M. Andres), in a statement, said that Yugoslavia • and Greece were firmly united in the same resolve to safeguard their political and economic independence and were determined to remain outside the conflict which was tearing Europe asunder. The Balkans which had shown a desire for mutual help in peacetime, were even more eager to co-operate now that they were beset with so many difficulties.
