PARADES AT RACECOURSE

During the weekvend the Feilding Territorials held parades at the racecourse, while a number of the men proceeded to tho rihe range on Sandon Road, where, they carried out practice under the instruction of Lieutenant C. A. R. Loch. The work at the racecourse was carried out under the supervision of Captain D. Ferguson. On Sunday the ladies’ committee of the Feilding Territorial Association provided luncheon for the company, and this hospitality was greatly appreciated. Major Bruce McLeod, second in command of the regiment, inspected the troops at the racecourse on Sunday. Next Sunday a church parade will he held, and the men will proceed to Wanganui next week for intensive training- __
