PAHIATUA.
Mrs A. R. Skilton is spe.nding a few days with her mother, Mrs Martin, Tararua Street, before returning to her home at Hcretaunga. On Sunday evening two cyclists collided on the main read on the Woodvillc side of Mnngatainoka bridge. Victor Boyens, son of Mr T. Boyens, of Pahiatua, was cycling homo when lie met witli the accident with Barry Cashin, employed by Mr R. L. Parker. Boyens escaped injury, but Cashin, had to bo taken to. the Pahiatua Hospital with facial injuries. The Pahiatua Fire Brigade was called twice during the week-end to deal with chimney fires.
