A RECIPE.

HONEY AND CUSTARD PUDDING. Take three-quarters of a pint of hot milk, 1 egg, a pinch of salt 2 tablespoonfuls of honey, and a few drops of flavouring essence. Beat the egg lightly with the salt, pour in the hot —-not boiling—milk and the honey. Add the essence, l’our into a shallow dish and bake in a cool oven for half an hour or a little longer. Custard, of course, must never boil, but only set.
