HIGH STANDARD REACHED

Tiierc was a good attendance on Saturday at the annual daffodil show of the Palmerston North Horticultural Society, the display of blooms being greatly admired. Fine weather in the late afternoon assisted the 'attendance considerably; The show was declared open by the Mayor (Mr A. E. Alansford), who was accompanied by Mrs Mansiord, the Mayor being introduced by Mr A. AY. Just, chairman of the committee. Mr Mansford congratulated the society on the display and extended his best wishes for a successful show.
