Speakers who have the real interest of tho British Empire at heart will be heard at the meeting for the launching of the petition to the Government to restrict the liquor trade during the war. .The gathering will, as • advertised, be held in tho Municipal Hall on Sunday afternoon at 2.30. The promoters of the gathering plead with church people and all those who care for their fellow men to bo present.
