TO-MORROW NIGHT’S FIGHT.

The big fight between Clarrie Raynor and Young Uildo, which takes place at the Opera House to-morrow night, is creating great interest amongst the boxing patrons in Palmerston North. Beth men have arrived in the city and, after going through a' special preparation for their fight, they state they are in the pink of condition and ready to lake nnything. Since coming under the wing of “Scotty” Inne-s, Rayner has had a wonderful record, which reads as follows: 20 fights, for 14 wins, two draws and four losses. Ills wins include eight knock-outs and six on points. He is at present fighting at the top of Ins form and should fully extend the clever little Filipino to-morrow night. Besides the big fight there will he six thrilling amateur bouts by specially picked boxers and included in these will be the amateur st.ai' bout of the flight between Parsons, of Palmerston North, and Blinkhornc, nE Levin. The programme is a first-class one, and in view of' this fact there is sure to be a capacity house. Patrons are urged, tc hook their seats. The plan is at Uollinson and Cunninghanie’s. Seats can be booked to-morrow afternoon and evening by ringing telephone 5247.
