AGREEMENT EXPECTED.
(Bee. 11.50 a m.) HANOI, Sept. 18. The Japanese Consul-General (Mr Boku Suzuki) predicted that a FrenchJapancso agreement would bo signed within 24 hours. The latest problems had been suddenly smoothed out. However, he is continuing the arrangements to evacuate Japanese women and children to Haiphong as a precautionary measure.
