COLLEGE STREET SCHOOL.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l notice by your paper that at last the College Street School grounds are to be extended. It behoves those in authority to immediately get the bigger boys and their cricket pitches out oil the ground irrespective of the condition. Every day my boy tells me stories of some smaller chudren being hit by flying balls. My children are big, but 1 would be sorry to see a ball from a bat cause a fatal accident to any other child, particularly should my boy be batting. I trust this will rouse the parents of smaller children to some action, and the committee also. I am quite prepared to help any working bee to form a pitch, etc., should it he necessary. —I am, etc., PARENT.
