Following very cold conditions early in the night, with the prospects of a heavy frost, rain fell before dawn in the city, half a point being recorded at the Boys’ High School, So far this month rain has fallen on nine days the total to date being 1.19 in. RIVER GAUGE. Noon.—3ft.
