BULLS SALE.

Dalgety and Coy., Ltd., report on their sale held at Bulls on Monday before a good attendance of the public: A small yarding of sheep comprised several pens of fat sheep, owe and wether hoggets and a pen of good ewes and lambs. Hieso sold under good competition and values were fully lirni at lato rates. Some excellent quality fat cattle were yarded, which were keenly compete'd for by local butchers, and realisations showed a definite improvements on those ruling a fortnight ago. A good line of six Polled Angus heifers, offered on account of Mr C. 12. Vile, of Bulls, realised £ll 2s. The best of the bullocks sold up to £l2 lbs. A great deal oi interest was taken in the sale of dairy stock, which included some well-bred heifers close to profit. We report a buoyant market with active competition. A wellbred line o'ffered on account of Mr Chas. Coleman, of Bulls, sold up to £l3. A number of other top heifers made from £ll to £l3 10s. Only one pen of yearling Jersey heifers of inferior quality were offered, these realising £3 13s. An average yarding of pigs sold under particularly keen competition and last sale’s high prices were fully maintained. We quote: Fat wethers, 395; fat hoggets, 245; fat owes, 30s 3d; wether hoggets, 22s 9d, 23s 3d; ewe hoggets. 225, 26s 2d, 26s 9d, 27s 9d; ewes and limbs, 20s 2d (all counted). Fat bullocks, £l2 16s; fat P.A. heifers, £ll 2s; fat cows, £5 3s, £6 13s, £6 9s, £6 11s, £B, £ll Is; dairy heifers, r.w.b., £7 15s, £9 ss, £lO, £ll ss, £ll 17s 6d, £l2, £l3. £l3 ss, £l3 10s; cows in milk, £4 17s 6d, £5; small Jersey yearling heifers, £3 13s; Jersey bulls, £7 10s, £8 7s 6d, £8 15s. Purebred Berkshire sow, 4gns. ; store pigs, £2 10s, £3 3s; slips, 295, 395; weaners, 20s, 21s. Three-year unbroken draught gelding, £9.
