AVELLINGTON’S HELP. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept, 17. In answer to the appeal of the Mayor of AVellington (Air T. C. A. Hislop) to the people of Wellington to subscribe £3OOO as the city’s quota of the New Zealand contribution to the fund being raised by the Lord Mayor of London for the relief of victims of German bombing, £5387 had been received at 3 p.m. to-day. The city treasurer expects ■ the total to, roach £6OOO.
