Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 17. Discussing housing to-day, Hon H. T. Armstrong said that one-third ot tlie aggregate of the houses being built'by the State were in Auckland. That was not because he had treated the Auckland applicants more favourably than applicants elsewhere, but because Auckland had men and materials to construct the houses. The Minister said that in 128 cities and towns throughout the Donpmon 11 343 houses had been built or were under construction, the number occupied being 8142.
