NAVAL CASUALTIES.
DUN VEGAN CASTLE AND EXPRESS.
(Rec. 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 16. The casualties as a result of the sinking of the armed merchant cruiser Dunvegan Castle in the North Atlantic early this month were one officer and two ratings killed, three officers and 21 ratings missing, and three officers and nine ratings wounded. The casualties as the result of the sinking of the destroyer Express were two officers and eight ratings killed, one officer and one rating died. of wounds, one officer and 53 ratings missing, two officers and. 20 ratings wounded.
According to a message from London on September 5 H.M.S. Express was damaged, hut reached port safely. A Berlin communique claimed to have sunk the Express.
