PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Townswomen’s Guild report excellent business for the week at the patriotic shop, and their efforts resulting in £237 17s, making still another record. Mrs K. S. Manning (supervisor) greatly appreciates the assistance of all helpers, especially Mrs J. Barsanti,' who has had full charge of the “g'ory box” competitions, members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mr B. Gnadingor, who has been a regular contributor of Swiss pies, giving 200 pics for a special day on Thursday. These were sold out early in the afternoon.
