Grabame White had earned the “liluo Ribbon” for aviators in America, having secured £22,000 in prizes. Count Zeppelin’s airship No. 6 was completely burned in 19 minutes at its shelnear Baden (Germany). During a cyclone in the Gulf of Taranto the Italian warships there dragged their anchors and some came into collision. The damage was estimated at £40,000. Tho Young Egyptians’ Congress, at Geneva, demanded the immediate evacuation of Egypt by Britain, and urged the Khedive to re-establish tho Constitution. Tho Australian Senate was making a great fight for tho capital site, stated a Melbourne cablegram. The New South Wales representatives, who previously voted for Canberra, announced their intention to vote against it, placing the selected site in jeopardy.
