BRITISH COURAGE

INDIANS’ ADMIRATION CONGRESS RESOLUTION. (United Press.Association—Copyright.) (Rec 10 a.m.) BOMBAY, Sept. 15 ■Mr Gandhi lias approved a resolution expressing sympathy with the British nation, and it is being submitted to the All-India Congress Committee.

The resolution says the members of Congress cannot withhold their admiration for the bravery and endurance of the British nation in the iace of danger. The members of Congress have no ill will towards the' Britons, and the spirit of insistence on the truth prevents Congress frdm doing anything to embarrass them.

This self-imposed restraint cannot be taken to the extent of sell-extinction, but Congress does not desire at present to extend non-v:olent resistance beyond what is required for the preservation of the liberties of the people.
