WOOL FOR STORAGE.

BOSTON, Sept. 14 Australian and New Zealand wool weighing.2so million pounds, belonging to the British owners, is being stored in Boston throughout the winter. It is understood that the title of ownership will remain British, but the United States will be permitted to draw supplies in the event of an emergency. Shipment to the United States is expected to begin at the end of September and will require 40 ships. The United States Government is paying the storage, also any excess freights. It is emphasised that the wool will be bonded and will not be available for the general market and cannot be used for ordinary commercial purposes.
