Nurse O'Reilly, of the staff of the; Palmerston North Hospital, is visiting her mother, Mrs 0. O’Reilly, of Waverley. The death occurred on Thursday at her residence in: Hamilton East of Mrs Mary Dillon, in her 101st year. Mrs Dillon, who was Hamilton’s oldest resident, was born in County Mayo, Ireland, in 1839, and as a child lived through the terrible famine which swept that country. Up till 'her death Mrs Dillon enjoyed good health and took a remarkably keen interest in world affairs. Mrs L. Ginn, of Duncan Street, Wanganui East, celebrated her 90th birthday to-day. She was born in Tasmania and came to New Zealand in 1901, taking up land in the Tokomaru district. She went to reside in Wanganui in 1910. Her husband predeceased her 2G years ago. Mrs Ginn possesses all her faculties and can read the headings in the newspapers without the aid of glasses. She walks to church every Sunday. The death occurred on Thursday morning of Mr.s Charlotte Glover, wife of Mr Arthur G. Glover, of Jvarori, Wellington. Mrs Glover was the fourth daughter of the late Mr William Plimmer, and a grand-daughter of Mr John Plimmer, one of the pioneer settlers of Wellington. She is survived bv her husband, one son, Mr Maxwell Glover, and three daughters, Miss Naida Glover (Wellington), Mrs J. Harris (Palmerston North) and Mrs Ivor King (Wellington).
At the great age of 99 years, the death lias occurred in Otane of Mrs Harriett Maria Mulinder. Mrs Mulinder, who was born in London, arrived at "Wellington in 1860. She was twice married, and after her first marriage in her early twenties at Napier to Mr Windsor, went with her husband to reside in Waipawa. Nine years later Mr Windsor died and she continued to reside in Waipawa till she married the late Mr George Mulinder, and then made her homo at Patangata, where tor many years she and her husband were well-known. Since the death of her second husband 40 years ago Mrs Mulinder has lived principally in Otane. She had a family of 10 children, three by the first marriage and seven by the second.
