AUSTRALIAN FORCES.
MR CHURCHILL’S PRAISE,
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 12
The Prime Minister (Mr Churchill), acknowledging the war anniversary message from the Prime Minister of Australia (Mr Menzies) said: “The thrilling exploits of your caiiors in the Mediterranean scene and of your airmen around these shores give a foretaste of what the enemy may expect when all the arms of the Australian forces get the chance which they are eagerly awaiting. With the aid of such men we shall go on unflinchingly till final victory is won.”
