“SOFTSPEAKER.”
POPULAR IN GERMANY
LONDON, Aug. 30. A correspondent of the Times on the German frontier states that a “softspeaker,” which can be connected to any wireless set, has attracted many buvers at the Leipzig Fair. . The speaker is placed under the pillow and is then audible to the user of the pillow but to nobody else. The manufacturers claim that the speaker is designed for use in hospitals, but the German Press declares that unscrupulous people might be tempted to use the contrivance for secretly listening to foreign broadcasts.
