At a meeting of Zone 1) Patriotic! Committee, held yesterday, a financial t statement in connection with the run- i liing of the Palmerston North A. N. and A. Club was presented by Mr K. A. Henderson, who pointed'out that in addition to the donations made by Palmerston North citizens, amounting to £451 10s 4d, additional funds amounting to £lls 9s od had been obtained to date from the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Council towards the expenses of running the club, and further funds would be received from this source.
