AUSTRALIAN HOME GUARD.
(Eec. 9 a.m.) CANBERRA, Sept. 13. A conference of police commissioners and officials yesterday drew up a plan for the creation of a Home Guard who would bo required to assist the police in time of emergency and also deal with subversive influences in. the Commonwealth. It will recommend the Federal Government to adopt it.
