MANY FINE BLOOMS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SANSON, Sept, 12. The interior of the Sanson Hall was a picture of brilliantly-coloured flowers and bulbs when St. ThoriWs Anglican Church held its annual show on Wednesday. The exhibition was in every respect an outstanding success. The decorative section received good entries and some splendid work was seen. A large number of entries wero received for the cooking section, and the noedlework section was also well supported. Much of the success of the function was duo to the untiring efforts of tho secretary (Mrs W. J. Rowan), who was ably assisted by a strong, ladies’ committee. Tho judges were: Cut flowers, Mr F. Mason (Feilding); decorative, Mrs J. E. Barltrop (Feilding); fancy work, Mrs Hendry (Bulls); domestic, Mrs Hope. The stewards were: Domestic, Miss N. Lawrence; decorative, Mrs Bowater; miscellaneous, Mrs Jordon and Mrs J. Masters; children and section H, Mrs L. Bishop; section A, Mis 3P. Hope and Mr A. K. Drew; vegetables, Miss S. Grace. The following are tho awards: In the open classes Mrs C. A. Leicester (Tangimoana) secured all the awards and tho challenge cup for points prize.
